Dr. Sharon Meyer, MD

Dr. Sharon Meyer specializes in Internal Medicine with focused training in primary care and HIV disease. She trained at George Washington University in Washington DC and completed her residency in Internal Medicine, including an additional year as chief resident, at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco.

Her subsequent career path spans over 25 years and includes both outpatient and inpatient medicine with an emphasis on teaching, preventive medicine, HIV care, pain management and mental health.

Sharon has served as Assistant Medical Director for the outpatient residency training clinics at both CPMC and St. Mary’s Medical Center, while maintaining a primary care and HIV practice.

Sharon also worked as a clinician for four years at the UCSF HIV 360 Program, caring for marginalized populations of women with trauma and HIV disease.
